Additional Insemination Reports

In order to determine the optimal time for breeding cows and heifers, it is important to know which animals are eligible for breeding, and which show signs of heat but why they may not be eligible for breeding. AfiFarm provides a range of fertility reports to help you make these important decisions.

The fertility reports are accessed via the Animals for Insemination report.

Click Animals for Insemination on the Dashboard to access the reports.

In the report, click the drop-down arrow to view the list of fertility reports.

The following fertility reports are available:

Report name	Description
Animals for Insemination	Lists all cows and heifers that are eligible for insemination. Note: To be eligible for insemination, the animal must show signs of heat, but must also meet other criteria, such as number of Days in Milk (DIM), recent event history (group change, hoofing, etc.), voluntary waiting period (VWP), etc.
Cows/Heifers to be Bred	Lists the cows/heifers (in separate reports) that are eligible for insemination.
Cows/Heifers – Breeding	Lists cows/heifers (in separate reports) eligible for insemination (have passed VWP) irrelevant of whether they show signs of heat.
Animals After Heat	Lists cows that exited the Animals for Insemination report without being reported as inseminated (insemination event).
Cows/Heifers in Heat – Not Eligible for Insemination	Lists cows/heifers (in separate reports) that are not eligible for insemination based on certain criteria (such as recent events history, DIM, etc.).
